It depends on the person, what happend and the situation. It's not always the same but the one that happens most often is probably my boyfriend because we live together and if I'm having a bad day and taking it out on him or something of the sort. Once I realize what I am doing I will go up to him and give him a kiss and tell him that I am sorry that i took my bad day out on him and that I appreciate him being so understanding and patient.

Hmm how is my responsign being charming. I am by no means "charming" my boyfriend when i apologize. We have lived together for 3 years. Things happen so by giving him a hug/kiss telling him how sorry I am and that I appreciate him and everything he does I'm being charming? No, more like sincere.

Hello luvandpower! Honestly, it's not me who said sorry first everytime my husband and I had a little argument. Everytime I started to confront him, he will just immediately say sorry. I want him to said something bad to me sometimes but it never happened. I just remember one time when we had our very big argument that he told me he is starting to loose his patience and while saying it, he turn around and went to our room. That's the time I felt how rude I am to him, so I followed him to our room, kissed him, hugged him and apologize to him which he accepted immediately. With just one kiss and I know my husband's anger would go away.

there are many times in any kind of relationship when you say or do something when you are angry but later regrett doing or saying that thing and realise your mistake but then sit and think how would you ever be able to go and say sorry to that person...thats whats called the ego...which comes in the way many a times i have let go of saying sorry in the past and so i have lost some of my valuable relationships.... but now i have come to realise that these relationships and my behaviour towards them....full of ego and arrogance has taught me things in life the hard way.... and so its always better to go and tell your loved one you are sorry for you did...because you may not realise now but you will realise much later after you have actually gone and said sorry tot he person concerned how nice you feel inside....

well if thats how you feel then put aside your ego and show her your love and care instead of saying you are sorry which you will eventually learn to say one day cos you love her so much !!

For me I say we need to talk and then I tell them how sorry I am for whatever had occured and depending on what hapened or why the situation happen, I explain my reasons for saying ro doing what I did and let them explain how they felt and why. Always end great as we meet each other half way and give the respect deserved.

Very often! To me it all ahs to do with how you handle the discussion, you can't be upset and angry, but be open to listening to issues your love one has and be ready to say sorry and move on

I say sorry with sincerity. I recently had a big fight with my bf three weeks ago. I knew it was my fault and I tried to say sorry the day after the fight but he told me not to call him for a week. I thought it would be over because it was the first time that I saw him that mad. And I never did call him or send a text message, which was far from my personality coz I never stop until we're ok, because I feel that I have no right to demand for him to listen to me. But I really really want to explain myself and apologize. After 4 days, he was the first one who sent me a text message. Our common friend told me that hours before he sent me that text message, he was saying I haven't communicated with him, not even a text message (and I thought he wanted it). And from there, it gave me a signal to say sorry for what I did. And from that experience, I learned that women have this special charm that can unarmed every man...

yea.. I can't stand few days without talking to him. It drives me crazy but that incident was different. I made a mistake, which means I have to let it cool down before anything bad could happen. I need to take the consequences...

consequences have to be of course in order, what do you do if he doesnt' want to set any and doesn't want to talk about it.

good day yes, me and my husband had gone into these issues. all i had did is accept my fault and tell him that it will never be happen anymore. you dont have to explain everything further. just tell him what he had to know and them hug or kiss him. you could also give him a peace ofering and just do good all the time, be honest and be loyal to him/her. there are things that depends on a person. but as for me. im praying first to God to guide me on the stepd that i will do. you culd ask friends whose close to you or some of your partner's friends. just give some time too on your partner and spend days doing things that you know she likes best. things that could make him/her smile.

I am in a situation with a similar manner(I'm a guy with a girl) and I try to say sorry even when she is in the wrong and it ends up hurting the relationship. been together a year and a half, been through alot(I'm 27, she is 24) and gotten through it all. I just told her after four days that I'm done asking whats wrong. I try to sympathize and she wont let me in. Yes, a hug and a kiss would end it all, but she wont even meet me half way. Good luck and god bless, but I'm hurt and dont know this outcome. BTW, we have never cheated and she is as kind hearted as I am and wont talk to me. I dont know what to do, but I do know how much I love her. I just wish I could fix this with chocolate or something because I miss her and think about her 24/7. Women just dont know, they have what they want but dont see it sometimes. There are too many bad guys out there that mess it up for us good guys. We do finish last... and it really hurts sometimes :(
