No tollerence for Talking and Driving

Do you think talking on a cellular device should be unpermitted by the law? Even a bluetooth or ear piece? I can see holding onto the phone and driving with one hand can cause a bad accident or distract people from driving because some people can't do more than one thing at a time. If I"m on the road and behind a swirving driver in their vehical that is only going 20 kms on the road I'm wondering if they are drunk but when I pass them and see that they are on their cell phone, I get quite annoyed and I'm sure the police feel that way too. I was on my way to work not knowing the new law yet when I decided to make a call to a friend I hadn't touched base with for sometime. We must have talked for about 20 minutes then when we were saying bye, she warned me that there's a new law where if you get caught using your cellphone while driving, it's a $300.00 fine. I wished she would've warned me at the beginning of our phone conversation lol. From now on I will not be doing that again. Are you happy about this new law? How do you feel about it?

I'm not sure if the law still allows us to talk with a bluetooth or some ear piece for that matter, or is it just illegal all together? I'll have to find that out. Thanks for your comment

i would have to say yes.i hate to say it,there's sometimes when a phone is needed, but for every responsible talker there seems to be 10 that aren't. i saw somebody on the road with 2 at the same time once. a bluetooth might be ok tho-at least hands are free then.

I haven't seen or read about the law yet but a friend told me about it so I"m sure it's in effect. I heard before that they were going to make it into a law and not only talking on a cellphone is illegal but so is texting. I can see texting being a problem for drivers forsure. I can't see a bluetooth where you're hands free being all that bad though. I'm still going to bring my cellphone with me whereever I go, but won't use it while driving, so I don't get a $300.00 fine lol. You're very right about for every responsible talker there seems to be 10 that aren't. Thanks for your comment
