Okay so, SOMEONE (not me) opened a file rather then saving it from my hotmail, i worked on it for so- long, then saved it and closed it, when i come to open it again, it's called recused file or something, and it wont open- because it wasnt originally saved in my files. Is there anyway of opening this file? It wont load in word and it wont load in IE. So i'm stuck on what to do- and i REALLY need that work x_x... Help please?

then go back to hotmail and open it again. unless you deleted it there, then you don't have a problem. if you did, maybe it has a recycle bin like in the new yahoo mail. try checking it there. may i ask who made the document?

the best way to open your file is go back to a computer where you make this file, the computer you worked on has always a backup on it.. ie. ms word, if the file corrupts of damage, it can opened it their and recovered some part of it. i hoped this helps your porblem.

i think it problem occur while you was renaming this file. It has problem with its file extension. Let us consider original document was "New document.doc" ok while renamming it you write "My file" and did not add its extension to its name. You have to rename your file as "My file.doc ok Now file will open properly and no message of recused file will be shown

ahh. sorry if i didn't get it. the way you explained it very confusing. you said you saved it. but earlier you said you didn't, which is which. well you can try the search for windows type in *.doc if your using office 2003 or *.docx if your using office 2007. then look on each file, try looking for files with this sign = "~$" in front of the file name. this are temporary files being created by office just incase you accidentally lose you file. try opening that. by the way, it will be the same as the file name of the file that you lost. for example: lostfile.doc will have a temporary filename of ~$lostfile.doc or something similar.
