What kind of sacrifice have you made to earn extra money?

I am a mom and having to go to work each day instead of being home with my kids is already a sacrifice for me. But still my income from work is not enough to pay for our needs and obligations, so I still have to spend time after work doing extra freelance work and selling stuffs. I get to see my little boys around 2-3 nights in a week. Whenever I get home, they are already asleep and when I wake up in the morning, my eldest is already in school and I am already in the hurry to go to work.

usually, i have to move away from my family. just like you, being away from family is a sacrifice to be done to be able to earn a living. it is a worthy sacrifice for a responsible family member. there are times that would be difficult such as loneliness, but it is no match to the satisfaction of supporting a family.

i moved out of the country to get a job with higher pay. unfortunately, things have not been so good here and I am unemployed because of the recession :( will be giving my self another month or two to see if i should just head back home.
