hey, guys! have u ever sweared at work when something really bother u? i think most people have..maybe u think its just some complaints that should be avoid, but believe it or not, it can help boost team spirit among staff..According to a study by researchers, it can allow the staff to express better their feelings as well as develop social relationships.. i think in certain cicumstances such as in front of senior staff or customers should be banned...and must get it in control to prevent it grows to be a negative or abusive manner... what do u think of this behavior? do u agree with the researchers?

When you are amongst your own staff, then I feel its ok to swear some times. It relieves tension and maybe the staff may accept you for it too. It could be right. However t here is a time and place for everything, so be careful.

I think, it works okay when in control. One must not go over board or do the extremes. I personally do not approve of this and think that its against work ethics and against decorum of the workplace. But then. it could work i dire circumstance nor out of fear and the workmen would end up having less respect for the person.

Indeed, they do not mean much of it. Its just venting out their anguish and drudgery. In a way it keep them going.

I have sweared in the past and it's been only at time of extreme frustration. But i have felt bad at it and regretted it. I'm not sure as to how much of team spirit boost it does. I would think the only effect of it would be to instill a moment of fear and anxiety in the mind of the team members and make them act in order for them not to see me in that frame of mind again.

I think as far as stressed is concern, swearing might be a way to get it out. However there are still work etiquette that needs to be followed and it might not be good to be in a workplace where you always hear people swearing.
