Gifts - How do you decide who they're from?

How do you decide if a gift will come from you or from Santa? I got my girls each Nintendo DS's. I'm excited about them so I want to give them from me, but then since its a HUGE-MUNGO (priced) gift, maybe it should come from Santa... I NORMALLY tell the girls I'm not buying them any toys because they have so many so it's up to santa & I'll just get them clothes, CD's, & movies... this year I got them a LOT of clothes and hardly any CD's or anything and a DS is more of an electronic then it is a toy... so I kinda want it to come from me... What would you guys do? Would it be santa or you? and how do you decide what gift comes from who? MERRY CHRISTMAS!

If your girls still believe in Santa then I'd make it from him. Since everything else is almost all clothes. In our house anything wrapped is from us and the unwrapped gifts are from Santa. So it always the things that will make the biggest im pression. I love to see their eyes light up when they first see the tree.

My brother says it should come from Santa too so that he can act as tho he's in co-hoots with Santa LOL... Santa wraps his gifts in our house so its just a matter of which paper do I use LOL

Growing up, Santa always brought the BIG, usually more expensive gifts. We got cool things from our parents, but the BIG stuff usually came from Santa.
