I have The Polar Express playing in the background as I type this. I really like this movie, but since I own the DVD i watch it whenever the mood strikes me. For Thanksgiving my husband insists on watching Planes, Trains and Automobiles. At Christmas he insist on watching A Christmas Story. Personally I have to watch White Christmas....the full version with all of the songs and dances, not the butchered version they have been showing on the Lifetime network. So what about you? What holiday movie do you just have to see each year?

Hi there friend. For holiday movies (christmas in this case) i can recommend quite a few: For starters there's home alone (especially the first 2 ones) - i watch this every year and i just love them - lots of fun and, moral lessons as well and last but not least it has a sentimental side to it. Second of all there are the 3 Santa Claus movies made by Disney with Tim Alen. Also if you like Disney classics or animation in general you could try: Beauty and the Beast - Enchanted Christmas Shrek the Halls is also a keeper - very cute

I have never seen the Beauty and The Beast Christmas movie. I'll have to give that one a try this year. Thanks!

I would have to say A Christmas Story. We have a tradition in our family. On thanksgiving day we put up our christmas decorations and then after having dinner we sit down and watch A Christmas Story. We all love that movie. I also like rudolph, frosty, and santa is coming to town. Unfortunately this year we haven't been able to watch any because we just moved overseas and they don't have them on tv.

for me there's a bundle of Christmas movies. One of my all time favs is "Night before Christmas" and more recent one "Fred Claus" These two movies are fun and well since i'm a kid at heart why not right. I love all Christmas movies as I think they serve a purpose to get you in the mood. No harm in watching one every now and again because as quick as christmas passes by it comes again :D
