Christmas is fast approaching...it always makes me think Christmas in Philippines. So much to miss..crowded malls, christmas songs everywhere, christmas lights along the streets (esp Ayala Ave.) so much food on Christmas Eve, exchange gifts and of course FAMILY AND FRIENDS. If you are living in a foreign country, you would treasure these things a lot!

I do treasure the Maltese Christmas traditions, making cribs, street decorations and Christmas carols. If I lived in a foreign country I would make sure to return to my homeland just for Christmas.

I actually just started a discussion on the very same topic a couple of days ago. I would say that the tradition I miss most is spending time with my family. I live thousands of miles away from them now and I just feel lonely at times when I think of spending Christmas without them.
