When Chronic Pain Is Slow To Repond To Meds

I have chronic pain due to a secondary diagnosis of legs ulcers that was caused by deep vein thrombosis. Right now I am able to maintain pain management with percocetts at a 10/500 dose, but sometimes it takes longer than the norm for the pain to subside. When that happens I try to take my mind off of it by doing something else. like reading or crocheting, or watching tv. What do you do when you are waiting for the pain meds to take effect? DCMerkle
