I was up last night flicking through channels and came across this documentry on Objectùm-Sexuality which is someone who falls in love with objects, in the same way as you would fall in love with a person... It was toatally Bizare and I was intrigued by it... Here's a link if your interested to know more about this disease http://www.objectum-sexuality.org/ Here's a article about the woman who married the Eiffel Tower http://www.independent.co.uk/extras/sunday-review/living/i-married-the-eiffel-tower-832519.html Share your thoughts

hi, pinklily. thank you for sharing those sites. i really didn't know there were such people -- "objectum sexuals." i know that people sometimes tend to love inanimate things, but not to the extent of marrying or getting intimate with them. well, as the author wrote, most of them did have traumatic experiences in the past which caused them to turn to material things instead of forming relationships with humans. i think these people just need to be loved and cared for. on the other hand, we also don't know if all those featured are true objectum sexuals. some may just have been faking it in order to be popular.

It is interesting to find out more about things you don't know much about... They said that their wasn't very many in the world and on the documentry I missed the very start and when I tuned on it was speaking about the females who then came together to talk about it then they went to this place where they pretty much made love to an object... It's a mental state of mind thing, I think... The other person that was on their with the lady who married the Eifell tower, to me seemed like she had a disability and wasn't all there, and I first thought it was a boy not a girl, so wasn't too surprised there but still.. Her mum was supportive of her... I would be out there trying to seek help... I did wonder too if they were faking, but I don't think these two were...

I dont think these people are in their normal state of mind. I believe they had difficulty reaching out to other people, they just found comfort with these things. They need professional help, I believe.

Yes Katrhina23 I agree, I think it could be a chemical imbalance in their brain...

Wow that IS odd. That must be very weird for the rest of the family. I wonder what it's like to be like that. I'd probably end up marrying a computer or something xD
