What do you do to work for justice?

I work for disability rights and do some other forms of activism including LGBT rights and Women's rights. I am very active in the green party although i am thinking about switching and becoming a regular old democrat expecially now that Obama is elected. One big thing I do is collect money from my books to non profit organizations. I feel good about that, like i'm using my talents for a purpose other than myself.

I also am happy helping others less able than myself and trying to stand up for groups discriminated against. In UK that means standing up for children and men's rights not women. Also for older people who face huge age discrimination issues - particularly in health and employment. Yes - I feel happy using my abilities to stand up for those less able do so. I enjoy lobbying and arguing for changes in the law to treat men and children fairly - but it is an uphill battle because the feminists have all the money and control of the media - but it is worth the fight!

Please see my other discussions where I am starting to highlight some of the many unfairnesses towards men in general and fathers/children in particular in UK. Feel free to raise any questions in connections with any of these issues if you would like to know more.
