Something happened earlier today here in the capital city of my country. KUALA LUMPUR: A massive landslide occurred in Bukit Antarabangsa at 4am Saturday. As of 2.20pm Saturday, three people are confirmed dead and 15 injured. The landslide cut off access by the main road to the residential areas at Bukit Antarabangsa, trapping hundreds of residents. One of the bungalows hit by the Bukit Antarabangsa landslide. As of 2.20pm Saturday, more than 2,000 residents have been evacuated, said Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan. He added that the search and rescue operation is ongoing for six people who are suspected to be buried but still alive. My heart goes out to those who lost their loved ones. This is what will happen when people always trying to get more money but ignoring the safety measurement. It is said that all development on hill will be stopped and banned.

That is very sad Safety measures are in place for a good reason, and developers should always pay attention to them, not their chase for the money. Poor people that got messed up by someone elses greed

As a father, I can tell you that I would be completely devastated to find any of my children like he found his son I too hope that someone finds a way to hold the developer responsible and make them pay for the damage they have caused.

I'm from Malaysia too, but from Johor Bahru, far from the area where the incident happened. This is a very sad and shocking news as this incident had caused my losses in terms of life and property. This is something that must be looked upon seriously. There are still developments being carried on hills without properly taking the safety measures and precaution to research the potential future problems that might occur. I agree with your suggestion on banning all developments that are done on hills.
