Tongue twister: " Feeters to meat" ,try and figure this one out !!!!

I work in an office where measurements and units are very important and we are always converting one unit to the other for example meters to inches, feet to centimeters and so on. Yesterday my co-worker right after lunch blurt out how do you convert feeters to meat, I didn’t find anything wrong with the statement because I figured He wanted a conversion between "f--t to m-t--s”, (I wont give away the surprise).It was not until a female coworker of mine asked what did you say and started laughing so much that we realized what he had and we all had a good laugh about it. Did you ever get tongue twisted before and mumbled something totally unintelligible? What was it that you said and how did people react?
