When an online earning is becoming popular....

it suddenly changes its TOS and lowers the earning possibilities. Making it harder to earn extra money. Just like what happened to Ciao. Now the 25 cents per review is gone. Just like in Megalido, the their rate has been lowered to 4% only from their previous 12%. Also the same with IsabelMarco. They are only paying premium members. Also with Thinkbux, you have to reach their ranking system before you get paid and fast and many other earning sites. Some even turned into scams. Geez... I don't think there will be a site who will not change any rules even if they are becoming popular and a lot of members are signing up. Well, there is only one site that I know and that is mylot. For the last 2 years I think mylot has been the same to its users. Still paying and never changes its TOS especially the earning possibilities. I have regretted that I was or have been concentrating on Ciao for the a week now. Since December 1 I have never posted anything here cause I find Ciao a fast earner site for me. Though I have no plans of leaving mylot, but I planned to spend most of my time on Ciao. But not anymore.. Learned a good lesson again. Mylot is still the best. What about you? have you left mylot because of Ciao? Will you now leave Ciao and come back to mylot? If not mylot, what site have you chosen against Ciao and vice-versa?

Well i never left mylot for ciao. I am one mylotter who joined early on ciao. Then i was not active in ciao and also i was not active when the rate reduced. But i think i should have active last few days. So i could earn at least $5. Now i have $4.55 and i can not withdraw the money. Ciao was not a major site for me. I am more concentrating on PTP sites. After that auto surfs. As i have limited money to invest in auto surfs.

I agree with your thoughts. But MyLot changed its payment method to PayPal and many international users like are not able to be paid, because PayPal does not let everyone receive payment in every country. In a lot of countries PayPal is useless.

Yes mylot changed its payment process but that's because they had problems with Moneybrokers. I heard they are still going to use other payments. I guess mylot is still working on it. Happy mylotting!

Sometime ago someone here commented most of mylot members have migrated to Ciao and that was the reasons why mylot has been quiet for quite a while, now when Ciao has gained its popularity it tries to enforce certain unpopular rulings on its members which does not go down well to their members. So it might be a blessing in disguise as now I see mylot is more lively with the return of it members here. Though the payment here might be small but mylot is here to stay for a long time and have foreseen that paying more than they can afford will not guarantee a sustainable site. So at least we enjoy our stay here even though the pay is chicken feed.

I actually just found both this site and ciao. Seems to me that while disappointing the payout cut at ciao should have been predictable. paying at that level for each post isnt really all that sustainable. They probably initially were willing to lose some money to develop initial content and a user base. There are a couple sites out there that are willing to split add revenue generated by your written content. They give anywhere from 50 - 100% and are usually a bit more stable because its maintainable. The idea is you are paid baased on views and ratings not posts.

I just joined ciao a month ago and got paid for doing five reviews.. now that, the .25 cents incentive is gone, i'm having second thoughts of doing new reviews.. but in the meantime, i'll stay on to see what happens.. i hope they would still pay honest reviewers for the time and effort spent in doing those good reviews..

Geez, I just joined ciao 3 days ago and earned $.73. That's quite disappointing as I was hoping I could make my earnings grow. I think this announcement is new? If ciao won't be paying any review then where can we find other paying sites? I hope there are still legitimate sites out there.

I'm not gonna leave ciao or mylot. I'm just going to try and juggle my time so that I can manage both sites. So far, I was able to do it even if Ciao was still paying $0.25. Now that they've decrease it I will still be active but not that much.

I never left mylot for Ciao, but I did earn there while they were paying. I learned to just take it for what it's worth. I will stay a member as long as they continue to pay. Every site seems to pay less as the membership grows.
