Today i was analysing my spending pattern and came to a very depressing revelation... What i found out that 60% of my money i had spent on things which were of no use to me or of were very little use to me..i could have easily done without them.. also i came to know that i spent in burts...when i got the urge i used to spend Rs 5000($100)...without giving a second thought...then there would be some days i would be very careful in spending even a penny... i dont know if there are people like me...one thing is sure i am very poor in managing money...i need to improve on that....

You made a good first step by analyzing your spending in the first place. Now that you know where you spend your money, create a budget for yourself. First budget in any bills that you have to pay, then budget in some savings, and then budget in some money to spend for things that you want to have but have little use to you. Good luck.

You seem to be very systematic..in the way you spend money... i spend on things when they come in front of me without prioritizing... till now i have been very lucky in the sense that i have never fallen into debt... that may be because i have a regular source of income which keeps me going...
