Do you like gardening?

My dad loves gardening and gardens with his new wife. This summer they had tons of crops including: beans, cabbage, lettuce, tomatoes, cantalope, peppers, cucumbers, zucchini. Beans and zucchini were a plenty!!! Everything tastes so good when it comes from a home-grown garden. I can't wait until my future husband and I have a home and some yard where we can have a little garden too!

For the last 3 years I have a small back yard garden. I enjoy gardening very much, as even when I had no garden, I was planting in pots. The first year I planted lots of flowers and a sunflower too.Unfortunately squarels broke it I could not see the final outcome of it. The second year I planted tomatoes (beside my usual flowers) and I got to eat 3 of them.Even tastier when you plant them. Last year I planted mint and I love how they spread.I know that they might spread too much, so I just gave them a small space, enough to enjoy my mint tea. This year,I don't have something in my mind, yet, but I'm working on it.

We do have a garden in our backyard and over the past couple of years we started to grow a few vegetables and before I knew it I was hooked on gardening. Last year we did a bit better but still didn't have the planting times down right so we missed out on a good harvest. We did however get some produce, just not as much as we would have if we planted about a month earlier. I am already planning for gardening 2009 and we are excited. We are going to be square foot gardening and container gardening this year to save space and hopefully have less weeding.

I like gardening,but I don't know how to take care of the flowers and plants.My grandamother often grow some vegetables for our meals,it is very delicious,I like.
