What are your New Years Resolutions this year? I try not to make resolutions. Instead, I set goals for the new year, and create steps to achieve these goals. This makes it easier for me to keep and reach my goals. How do you keep your New Years Resolutions?

Don't forget those meds friend. That is a crucial New Year's Resolution. I know I have been guilty myself of forgetting my meds. I now keep them in a pill box on the kitchen counter so I will remember them. Be a good girl now and remember them, lol.

That's a good resolution. I hope you can keep it. It sounds like you really need to. Try finding something else to take the place of shopping. Best of luck.

I have plenty of those. I want to lose weight, finish my degree in school, and start saving my money instead of spending all the time. Hopefully I can accomplish all these goals next yr. I also hope to keep healthy next yr too but soo far not lookin good with having to need possibly more surgery but will keep my hopes up!

I also call them new goals and set at least one for the year. The goal has to be within reason. For example, my goal is not going to be to win the lottery because that's probably not going to happen, although it would be nice if it did. So, for the year 2009 one of my goals is going to be to pay off at least one of my credit cards. I will start off by cutting that one specific card up. Then I will figure out a budget on how I am going to make much more than the minimum payment. If I happen to reach my goal of paying off my 1st credit card in 2009, then I will start with card #2. Good Luck on your goals

That's a great goal, and you have set up a plan to reach it. That's the way it should be done. I try to do mine that way as well. You have to take the baby steps to reach the main objective. I wish you lots of luck with your goal as well. It will be worth it in the long run. You reminded me of my credit card...which we need to pay off too, lol.

I have quite a few New Years resolutions. I have tried to make them more specific so that they are more achievable. I want to read 12 books in 12 months, eat healthy and remain at at constant weight of 55kgs, exercise at least 3 times a week by either going for a run, going to the gym or swimming at the beach, i need to get my drivers license and i also aim to get a part time job :)
