Babies are a miracle in my opinion. I had a miracle happen to me 6 years ago. I fell ice skating. Fractured my skull, had a concussion, claps in the back of split open head and blood clot under my brain. The doctors gave me 72 hours and if I lived those next 72 hours, I would survive. The clot dissolved on it's own and no surgery was required. I did lose my sense of smell and taste but have no problems or limitations with anything else. I do everything I did before the fall except I swore off ice skating. That sport is history. I did see the light at the end of the tunnel but didn't go through it. It was a big spotlight. I call this whole incident a miracle. I am thankful everyday for being here and being able to spend time with our kids and now grandkids.

Miracle to me is something that one don't expect but it happen. Like a couple struggling to have a child and four years after been going to all the different doctors one day the wife/girlfriend finds out that she is pregnant. Another one is if i found out that I am cure from the disease that I have. This would be a miracle. Christmas and new born babies is not a miracle for me only if the baby is born under the circumstances that I describe earlier.

When I hear the word miracle I think of something or someone that beat the odds. I believe miracles are an act from god to give us a little reminder of his presence in our lives.
