Around in my area my cable company(Charter)keeps on adding extra charges way too much. It seems like the monthly bill increases by a little every month. Yeah, they offer great service and quality but with that comes a cost. Alot of people say their going to switch if they ever get some competition.

I have Cox cable and they have said they make changes and have added about 15$ a month in a year but they are the only one here that I can use. My son has Charter and hasnt said any thing about it.

Theres no loss of complaints about Charters billing as theirs so many people in my area thats frustrated with them. There have been times when they billed me when they were not suppose to but that was taken care of. Most of the time though its Charter being Charter. I also got internet with them as well as cable and the internet quality is good and most of the time it works without problems.

We found out that if you go into the office you can get a much better deal, we did this and got a deal for a year locked in. True we keep getting offers in the mail, but none of them are better then what we got in the office. It was worth the trip.

I'm a member of Netflix but also i've got other family members of my house that like cable. There are options of getting cheaper cable online if one would settle watching with a pc monitor. I've heard its much cheaper just to watch cable online from what i've seen. You could just basicly hook your tv up to your pc and you or I might have cheaper or even much cheaper cable. I still am skeptical about stuff like that though as if it is true they will make it illegal because of how cheap the prices are and cable companies don't like losing money just like any other company.

We use direct TV, and we have not had any problems with it. We have used them for about 2 years now, and have been well pleased. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a new provider..

Thanks for the recommedation. If worst come to worst and I have to make some spending cuts when it comes to cable maybe direct tv would be an option.

I've seen the cheaper prices of Satellite TV but also i've heard of people switching back to cable after getting satellite tv. Its more affordable but I have doubts about how much you can get for the lower price. Anyway the more you get the more you pay and that basicly is why charter keeps raising the price and we can't pick and choose what channels we want when it comes to charter. If I could I would be willing to switch brands to whoever it was.
