Tonight in town they are having Santa Claus at the park for the children to see. Along with hot chocolate and prizes for the children. It is so cold that I'm wondering if taking the children out in the cold is a good idea, but I really want them to enjoy the holiday season and being a single parent sometimes events like this are even more special because I can't afford to do them on my own. So, we will be heading to see Santa Claus tonight. Have you taken your children to see Santa yet this year?

I have not. My 8 year old knows the truth about Santa and last year my daughter was scared of him. I might try to take her to the schools Supper with Santa this Friday and hope for the best.

We saw Santa after our parade as well. My kids really enjoyed it, but there was a really long wait. Santa was handing out gifts as well. They had different toys piled on tables and as each kid went past they got to choose a toy. Each of my kids were thrilled becasue they got Webkinz. After you choose your toy you get to have your photo taken with Santa and have hot chocolate, cookies and pizza. It's really fun and the kids love it. The best part is that everyhing is free.
