Have you ever cared about your Rankings in mylot?

Have you guys ever cared about your rankings that you get in the intrest which vary from different intrests topics...i think i have been ranked some where nearly 3,441th out of 26,388 members in the the mylot intrest..i really havent cared about these things untill yesterday where i saw the number3 of a intrest which i dont want to name is really fighting for the number1 position and says that its very difficult to get to that position..what do you think of him and have you cared about these things?

I don't really care about my rankings, because I just post to a discussion that interests me. I do think it's cool when I answer to a discussion and I see my ranking is pretty high. But that doesn't mean that I'm going to be posting a lot in that category now.
I don't really mind that that person wants to achieve the number one position. I'm not like that, but that doesn't mean I have a problem with anyone who focusses on their rankings. :)

Thats really cool..but a lot of people do create discussions only for tachieving high status in the interests and they write in a lot of posts which are not at all neccesary to anyone but this answer is really pretty cool..there have to be people like you in this site to have a good reputation for this site..

Thats good that you dont look into rankings in mylot, but some people over here just look for the rankings and other such stuffs and i ont come to say that it is bad but i think that they should put patience in their work and rankings would automatically come through their way..

I did not take that much interest in category ranking. I used to worry why my blue star turned into red. It happened twice to me. Now I don't care anymore. I always speak my mind and others can rate me negatively or positive according tow their wish.© ronaldinu 2008

Oh i see..i wish you all the best for your 9 star to be changed again to number 1o star and see i think i dont have to tell you much about this site since you have been for 5000 posts and i have been here only fo nearly 250 posts..but thats great that you have achieved rank number 400 out of 26,000 people in mylot intrest and i really wish you best of luck for the future....

I sometimes check my ranking on the interest page. It hardly matters to me at what ranking I am. I do not get unlimited time to log in to mylot so that I could complete for higher rankings. I just enjoy the discussions over here and keep sharing my thoughts with others.

At first I thought that ranking here in MYLOT was the cream of the crop until I found out otherwise. I don't care about my ranking. I just want to know that I show my friends respect and the same is apply to me.

Wow thats great that you show respects for your mylot friends and i think that would be more than enough to be a good mylotter..even though you are not achieving any special things in mylot, i'm sure that you get the same respect from people who you replied..happy to see a mylotter like this...

I don't usually pay attention to my ratings, or anyone elses for that matter. I simply log on to start a discussion of something that is on my mind, or racking my brain and am looking for someone else's opinions, or I am here to respond to any other topics that stick out to me or look like they may be interesting to me. Submiting quality discussions and posting relative comments to posts is what I'm here to do. I enjoy posting, chatting and reading what others have to say.

Thats great that most of you over here dont care about the rankings like me.. ya as you said we just have to enjoy posting over here and the rest would be automatically come for us be it rankings,star points or the money..anyaway enjoy the same way as you are doing now....

Ranking is not much important for me and i never cared about it.For me mylot is nice place to spend my free time and share our ideas with members.If i get any free time,i like to spend it on mylot.

My what? Nope I have never cared about the rankings. As far as I know that is something that I have no control over. I am not the type that would worry about such things. I come here to discuss and respond to topics of interest to me. The ratings, pennies etc. matter not to me.

of course i am very concern with my rating , i believe it says so much on the quality of discussions i am producing and the kind of answers i have been postings. I guess while enjoying chatting , i should aim also to mantain the rating i have right now.

This month i've been challenging myself to be in the top ten of the question and anwser interest but still i am very far from the reality. Well, i guess if you say longer here and post most more discussion and responses you may able to get what you ever wanted. The only problem is how long would you able to hold on to that position

Wow thats great that you have been 143 in this intrest..i suppose that you really sit on the net for a very long period and do your work..i wonder how you guys are able to sit for that long period and get this sort of raqnks..anyway congrats on your feat man and keep it going and wish you all the best for the future to attain somewhere near the number one spot which is the ultimate goal to be achieved in mylot..

I don't care about my ranking. It's just not important to me. What I DO care about is my ever shrinking post count. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoo sick and tired of CONSTANTLY having to find stuff to post about just to make up my lost post count before going back to posting in my true interests about what I'm truly interested in. It's just FRIGGING IRRITATING. That. Is. All. ;)

Oh that happens regularly to everyone and i think that you are toooo tired of it..better take rest from this site for a couple of days.a week or so and then start again..i think by doing that you will not be that tensed if you lose some posts also..and one more thing if the photo displayed is you then you look very handsome...

Ranking has never bothered me.. In fact until a day or two days back I didnt knew what it was for..
I just try to post honestly and to my best and I dont care what the rank has in store for me..

I can't really understand on which factors mylot ratings exactly depends so i never cared to learn about them but i have one dout does our earnings acctually depend on our mylot ratings then what should we do to increase our ratings mylot is such that we have to give lenghty postings or be more time on mylot ??

I don't really care about that, what is important to me is to make sure that I make quality discussions and responses.
I don't even think there is a reward if you rank 1st or on the top 10, but I believe if you are somewhere amongst those up there you should somehow feel happy about it.
I never tried to fight or work hard with the intention of hold the first place position

i haven't thought about ranking at all..also i did not pay any attention towards it before..but i would like to see my ranking..just for fun sake..i have no intention to improve my ranking..i just want to post responses to topics i find interesting and get some count..
