I want to know what do you think about the new incentive system in Ciao. Maybe you can give me an excuse to keep active in Ciao. They call the new incentive as a better earning system. First they were taking out the $1 promotional per review. And now they are taking out the $0.25 per review. Instead, they are replacing it with Premium Fund. Ciao admin will choose 800 best reviews to be considered to receive the premium fund. 5 best reviews will receive $20. So others will receive less. What do you think about the new incentive system? I'm thinking that the new system will make a lot of members given up Ciao because what they have written will be reviewed and not necessarily to get paid at the end. if my calculation is correct, if they provide $2000 deducted with 5 best members get $20 each, then 795 other reviews will receive about $2 each. That's if your reviews are getting selected. The second thing, i just wondering how they can choose the best reviews with those so many reviews written everyday. can a software choose which one is best? i don't think so. how many staffs they have? I need your opinion on this. if they don't have incentive per review anymore, what is the purpose of community points? why people need to get a higher level? I don't think they will get paid more. Are we still receiving money from getting a rating, friends, etc? Thanks

i think its time to pack up from ciao. and go else where where it pays better. that is how most people will think. and you cannot blame them for that thinking. may be the activity will go down there. now to get paid a little more than $2 why should people spend writing tons of reviews. its better they spend the time else where in some other better activity that earns them better.

good point. i better spend my time writing in mylot. at least i got the fun while making money. i don't the admin understand that making a review needs time, brain, thinking what to say, etc. not just like A B C and done. especially if you are making a review about the movie or a product, you need to recall all your memory about it before writing it down.

finally, someone decided to stay for awhile he he he.. keep us posted gracie. the way i understand the explanation, they will selecting 800 reviews that they think are the best. 5 top reviews will receive $20 and the others will receive the balance. they will prepare $2000 in total for premium fund per month. so i will say about $2 each for the remaining 795 reviews.

I know, when I heard about this news here on mylot, I immediately went over to ciao to verify that the information is true. I don't think I'll be posting at Ciao this December unless someone blogs about how much they earned from the premium fund. I also don't see how members can earn more money through the premium fund when the site only awards a small amount to a small number of reviewers.

yep that's the problem. i have been thinking why do we need to be happy with a premium fund as they said. i don't think we can get anything, except waiting to get selected for $2 or getting paid for the rating we received. i wasn't realized too until i read the announcement carefully. still 100% are rejecting the new incentive

I have stuck with ciao this past few days just to see my daily earnings now. I have carried on writing reviews and posted them into the premium fund myself (I do not know if this is allowed though as it does not state this anywhere) well anyway, I have made a couple of dollars and they seem to be paying on rating others reviews. I have not got many ratings on mine though but I am getting money from somrwhere. It is no where near what I was getting though. I will give it a few weeks and then decide if it is worth sticking with now. Take care dodyast3

thanks for the response hildas. I'm checking my account too and looks like my money is add up by fourty cents today. i think it is coming for reading and rating other reviews. let's see how it goes in the next few weeks. they are promising more incentive in future. so far, we got 75% who will quit ciao and 25% is staying for awhile

I think you are absolutely write as people will not be spending their precious time just for getting their review selected and what they earn...$2.00.It's seriously the time to good bye them as to me it's the ridiculous amount which they are trying to offer to the users for their month worth of time. I also have read this news on cia and I had requested my payout from them which is around $5.17. Anyway thanks for updating it for other mylotters.

There are 88.88% of responders are having the same thought here. By the way, i just login to ciao and found additional $0.40 on my balance, but i don't know from where. definitely not from the review. i think it's coming from payment level 3 or earning for reads. what is payment level 1,2,3 anyway? i never pay attention on it until now.

i think we have the same sentiment when it comes to that matter. I was so disappointed when they changed their incentive system.

i tried to make a review about their new incentive in their site but cannot find where i can do that. well, we can do it in mylot just fine. thanks for the response. any one can make discussion or review about their new incentive system in ciao? it will be fun to get many responses from other members. 5 responses = 5 members will quit still 100% of members will quit the site anyone else can make the numbers higher?

Well basically what has happened in ciao is that, because of all the cheaters and members who write crappy reviews, the genuine members who write really nice and meaningful reviews are getting punished well. Instead of just paying 800 members, ciao should pay those who write proper reviews. Basically they will choose the best reviews depending on how many ratings that person will get I suppose. Ciao is definitely going to lose a lot of members because of this new scheme. I hope that they revert back to their old system, atleast we honest members can get paid for our honest reviews.

It just my opinion. I don't know whether you are agree or not. if they are having trouble with cheaters, they can simply find a system or reviewing the reviews that get bad rating from other users. it will be more simple and quicker rather then reviewing 800 best reviews among thousands of new reviews everyday. What they need is just a new system. not a new incentive system that can dissappoint all members. The only way they can be famous by now, because of the growing members they have. Believe it or not, even the cheaters are making big contribution to promote the site and making it more crowded. what they need is a system to control the cheaters. look at mylot. do you think no one wants to cheat them? a lot of forum out there are having problems with posts. they are loosing money by paying people who posting the word thank you, see you, how are you, etc. not mylot. what do you think guys?

I am also disappointed with their decision. What will happen actually is just like we are writing for nothing. We don't have guarantee if we can be chosen as a best author of a review. Anf if ever that would happen, $2 is not enough for one review. We do not have assurance that we will be chosen. Maybe I will just get my payment this coming 15th and leave the site already.Actually, the site has been vey helpful to me, but I was very disappointed with their decision.

another member of ciao decided to leave the site. 4 responses = 4 members quit so far, still 100% members will quit from Ciao Ciao is a site for making a review on products or services. Now you can make a review about them in mylot. especially about their new incentive system
