Karylle singing the Philippine National Anthem

I agree with you... i just heard her sing the Philippine national anthem... and it was not really that great... and yes, she really did not hit all the high notes right... and a lot of people noticed that... but she looked very beautiful...

Yeah, i agree with that. And there is a part where i feel that she swallowed or something. Haha..

She is nervous when singing in SOP what more the a big event like that. I salute guts, but the singing was not good not even fair.

I agree Lani Misalucha sangs much better than Karylle but We can't have the same singer to sing the National anthem again twice. Although she doesn't sings that well but I found her beautiful. Congrats Manny Pacquiao..

hello kalihya! I do agree with you. Karylle looks nervous while singing it that affected how she sang. I don't know why she chooses her to sing there when in fact she's not one of the greatest singer. I don't hate karylle but there are many great singers out there who deserves to sing the national anthem especially for a very historic event.

Well, I really think that Karylle is not a good singer. She is not as good as her mother, ZsaZsa Padilla. I was quite doubtful when I heard the news that she will sing our national anthem in Manny Pacquiao's fight against Oscar Dela Hoya. True enough, she did not do well. She was running out of air because she was probably nervious. I was really not impress but rather quite pissed of with the way she sang.

She's so embarrassing! She embarrassed the whole music industry of the Philippines on what she did... Pacquiao was wrong to pick her to sing the national anthem, Regine Velasquez would be great or a Lani Misalucha, or maybe Kyla... I really don't like the way she sings as if she have a gum or she's eating... Err...

Karylle is a GMA talent and they're gearing her up for the big time by exposing her to international events like The Dream Fight which seems to me a very wrong move because it just exposed that she can't sing. If she can, then she can't sing well under pressure at least. I understand that she's in a situation where the world is watching her but she could have prepared for it. Anticipated it. It even thought she's going to forget some lyrics because she sounds kind of hesitant to utter the words in the national anthem. She's pretty bad actually.
