My Experience/ Strategies with Ciao...

OK, as some of your have already read my frustrations yesterday with ciao. I immediately requested a payment of my $7.15 balance yesterday at ciao yesterday after I read the change of policy. Today when I logged in, I expected my account balance to be $0, however I found $2.68 in my balance and honestly I have no idea of where that comes from. Does anyone stop writing yesterday and still got earnings. FYI, I have 38 reviews there. So, since most of us are not impressed with the new paying system, however, I think our efforts are paid and I would like to observe the site for a bit. I think I will write a review or two there and try to wait and see. Shall we all keep each other updated to see if the site is still worth staying for? I will definitely share my experience when I find something interesting.

I am still writing, at least until the end of the month. I am interested in seeing what happens with them. I hope to actually get my payments next month. I will have about $11 coming to me. Not much but better than I make anywhere else in just one week. I need all the coming I can get, even if it is just $11 a week. I am hoping to eventually be making at least $30 per week from working online. Hope it will be possible but will be a little difficult with all I have going on including a job working 30-35 hours per week and three kids involved in sports.

Good luck! Let's keep each other updated there! Too bad, same with you, I earned the most there in just a week.

you will definitely earn more at ciao if more and more members are still rating your reviews. I also not publish ratings everyday but instead, I publish around 3 -4 reviews in a week. But i make sure that the review that i will be posting is well worthy enough of rating/comments. I earn everyday, even though I have not submitted reviews.I got around 2-3 dollars. my max earnings is 7-8 dollars on a day but, I spend hours rating and reading review. And also, I added more friends as I can.

Right I will observe and see if it's worthwhile to be there. But I went in yesterday and found that it's quieter than before.

Well, it seems like eventhough we don't get paid for the reviews we write... we still get paid for our activities and usefulness ratings we get... so we can still earn money... even if our reviews don't get any awards... i just hope they won't remove that incentive... i am enjoying my time there... and will still wait and see what the future will bring...

Right, but I don't think the inventive to be read and rated would be much. But I am observing!

Well that's something, I think there's a good thing about the new paying system, but honestly it's kinda hard to earn good money through ciao, I think AC is better. Although you'll wait for like five days for your content to be approved but the pay is good and fast. So far I've made about twelve contents there and have been paid several times.

I just checked and my balance is still the same. Mind you, I only have about five reviews, probably the same amount of friends but I don't think they ever voted for my writings. Could it be they dropped the .25 thingie but increased the amount you get from positive ratings? Let us now Icequeen, I'd really like to know what's the future like for the site, I was actually liking it there. Rich

I requested my money twice from Ciao. The first time is USD5.60 and the second time is USD5.26. Hard to believe that yesterday I earned USD2.65 and I don't know why. As USD0.25 per review is gone. Today I wrote a few reviews. As I have the same idea like you. I want to check whether I can't get pay by the new reviews. Hopefully there will be more people read my reviews and my earning can be reached USD5 soon. So that I can request my money and then I will leave Ciao. I love China

Yea let's wait and see what would happen next. But it seems to me that less people are there already.

i think the money you got were from members who viewed and rate your reviews which give you the cents and this make up for it. if we can still earn thru members rating then, it is still worth remaining behind to do that. i do not mind rating others and allowing others to rate mine too. in this way, we can still benefit from each other.

Most of the ciao members are in doubt about the new policy...Most of them are quitting the site, which is a bad news...They didn't mentioned on the qualification for the best review that makes the site more confusing..Although, they have done this to improve the reviews done and to remove some cheaters on the site (which is a good thing)...I will continue to monitor the site if the policy fits us...
