How will you feel if while you were responding to a discussion, the starter or owner rated another post as "best response" when you think you could have responded better or you posted something better than the best response?

Unfortunately the BR rating is not up to you, but to the poster. So the way that you feel your response should be rated really doesn't matter. I personally participate in a discussion because I think that I have something positive to add. It does not matter to me whether or not I get the BR. After all no matter the number of responses, only one BR can be awarded. So most of us will not be awarded the BR. I will say that I don't like when I start a discussion and there is only one response and in order to resolve the discussion you have to choose a BR. Its like winning by default, and not really because its the best response.

i wont feel anything. everybody has the right to their own opinion.... if the one who started the discussion thinks that this person deserves the BR then i have no problem about it. in my discussion i have also the free will to decide who i think responded the best, and as far as i am concern i had good choices on to who i grant the BR. so i would not feel anything if he granted someone a BR. as long as i leanr a lot from a poster then i think he deserves the BR that is my opinion.

Hey, they have to pick someone, right? Doesn't bother me at all.
