I have never had any broken bones! The only other real surgery I’ve ever had was my tonsillectomy, when I was like FIVE. To this day, even though it’s not really surgery at all, the most heinous medical thing I’ve ever gone through is giving birth. Anyway, your turn! Have you ever broken any bones and/or had major surgery?

I've never had a broken bone that needed a cast, although I believe I broke my little toe about 14 years ago. I never had it x-rayed because a doctor friend of mine said they could do anything anyway. He suggested I tape the injured toe to the toe next to it to immobolize it and help protect it some. Never had major surgery. My only hospital stays have been when my babies were born.

I managed to make it completely through my childhood without any broken bones. Then after I had had seven children of my own I slipped on a wet bathroom floor and broke my wrist in five places. They had me casted from fingertips to shoulder. I did have my tonsils out when I was 11 and had my gall bladder removed in 1984.

I am 33 and to this day I have never had any broken bones. I have had stitches in my hand twice. The only major surgeries that I have had were when I had my C-sections. I have had 4 boys and 4 c-sections. That would be all for surgeries. I have also been bitten by a poisonous snake which required a 3 day hospital stay.

When I was eight I broke both bones in my lower arm. The were broke all the way through and my arm was in a c shape. I was so scared on the way to the hospital and kept asking if my arm would ever be straight again. I ended up having to have two surgeries on my arm so that the bones would set in the right place. After the last surgery I spent nine weeks in a cast that had to be tied around my neck in one position. I was more than glad when it finally came off and I could once again move my arm.
