I had a free cat scan this morning... no, really!
I awoke to find Harmony parked on my chest. When she saw that I was waking up, she got up close and personal. First she looked deeply in my left eye, then the right, then she sniffed my nose, and my right eye. I guess the result came back that I needed more sleep, because she settled down and didn't insist that I get up.

Oh, she does her share of waking me up before I would like.

Oh, Harmony doesn't always wait until I'm awake on my own. I often refer to her as "my furry alarm clock."

Isn't it great how we get cat scans all the time. When I start waking up my Pyewacket cuddles up right next to my face, puts his paw on my cheek, then settles right on top of my back as I'm a stomach sleeper. I guess his verdict results is that I need more sleep as well.

I like it when the verdict is more sleep. So much better than "Get up and feed me/let me out/just get up because."

Hi barbara! I am lmao! That was so funny! You got me on that
one! I wasn't really paying attention because I am responding
from my emails and going through them one after another and
posting away! So I started to read yours and got all serious
and then I realized what you were talking about and just had
to stop and laugh! That is adorable! My very first cat,
Mystique used to lay on my chest! She would do the same thing!
That is just too sweet! At least she decided that you needed
more sleep! What a wise little kitty!

And she had such a concerned look on her face, too.

I did hear one report of someone's dog paying special attention to a spot on the person's person that later turned out to be cancerous, so just maybe...

Cats are so sensitive. My cat has been known to sleep on my bed without moving when I am sick. She will stay right by my side. I wonder if they could talk perhaps they could diagnose our illnesses without all that radiation from x ray's.
