Lesson learned from underestimation

Philippines

Yesterday, there are lots of people watching the De La Hoya -- Pacquiao fight. I am one of those. I really love to watch boxing especially that the boxer is Manny, a Filipino. Before the fight, there are lots of speculations that Manny will be knocked down. According to many world class boxers and many boxing analysts, there is really a mismatch. Many many people are underestiamting Manny. Perhaps because of his height and his size compared to his opponent. In my part, I do trust him. My prediction is De La Hoya will be knocked down on the 10th round. I was wrong. He surrendered on the eight round. I really do not know what made De La Hoya fight Manny. Is he underestimating Manny or is it because of pride? I think it's both. What do you think?
