life after death

hii everybody everyone blieves that this life is all we have to live, but what is the thing that keeps a body alive. Its a spirit which makes the body function. Does this spirit ever die? From Hindu beliefs from Geeta, lord Krishna say that the spirit doesn't ever die, it is immortal. It only changes the body. I wan't to know how many people here do believe that there is a life after death. and have you people ever had evidenced that strenghthens ur belief?
