After Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao won The Dream Match over Mexico's Golden Boy Oscar Dela Hoya, it will be hard for him to find another opponent in the same division. Would you think Pacman needs to stay in that division or he needs to be in the next higher division to get a better match? And who would like to be Pacman's next challenger be? Who do you think is the best match for Pacquiao this time?

Pacman will now only have two fighters on his sight, Hatton and Mayweather. After these two, there will be no one left that could be tempting for him to climb that dangerous boxing ring. Personally, I would like him to fight Mayweather at the outset. But it seems the more intelligent fight would be Hatton first then the former P4P king. These are the very best of times for Manny's career.

There are 2 main candidates to be Manny Pacquiao's next opponent. The first one is Ricky Hatton from Great Britain. He is coming off a knockout win over the Magic Man. He is the leading candidate and this is the most likely scenario. The second one is Floyd Mayweather Jr. who has retired 2 times already. He has an undefeated record and never lost before. There have been rumors that he will come out of retirement to fight PacMan. We shall wait and see.

It seems Manny has become unbeatable. Imagine how I feared for him knowing the advantages dela Hoya had. So surprised I was after seeing that this has been the easiest fight for Manny. Imagine how he made the golden boy surrender before the end of the fight. I would not know now who could match him. I'm not a boxing enthusiast actually so I am not well-versed with the who's who in the boxing scene. I only watch boxing because of Manny.

The British Bulldog Ricky Hatton is the best match for Manny this coming March or April 2009. Coming from a lopsided victory over the Golden Boy, this will really be a good momentum for Manny who is currently serious with boxing considering that he is on his prime. He has beaten the names of Barrera, Morales, Marquez, and just recently, the Bill Gates of Boxing, the future hall of famer, the lechero, the only one who has got a revenue of more than 1 Billion dollars in boxing history, that is none other than Oscar De La Hoya. It was rumored that Manny would want to challenge Hatton even at his own turf. Whether that would be in the 100k capacity Wembley Stadium with the rabid British Fan with their synchronized British Band, it does not matter to Manny. This man always want to face challenges. Fearless is the word that best describes him. With all the accolades and praises with Manny, it is time once again that boxing has got the new renaissance man in the person of Pacman.
