I was just thinking about this recently that after the Berlin Wall fell and Russia stopped being Communist that the internet was availible to the public the next year. I think the internet was first accessible to the public in 1990. The internet however originally came from the Military. Would of the Military released the internet to the public if the Cold War had not ended? After all the internet had to be somewhat a valuable tool for the military. It was first invented in the Military back in the late 60s. Actually I looked it up and they started offering the internet to the general public back in 1992 but i've heard it was around to some of the general public back in 1990. Anyway the internet as we know it started between the U.S. and the Soviet Union because of the Space Race back in 1957 when the Soviet Union launced the first satellite called Sputnik 1. So this is how the internet basicly evolved over time.
