One Kitten ?

My calico had a kitten yes just one personally I didnt think a 12 year old cat could have kittens but she just gave us one thats a keeper she looks like her mom but has a yellow mustache my daughter has been calling her pepereka no idea where the name came from but isnt it strange for a 12 year old cat to have kittens an to top it off just one oh by the way she like being the only one more food for her she is a chubby one

CONGRATS enola! I like cats but I don't know much about them, so I wouldn't know the appropriate age for them to have kittens.
Ah..Kittens are just so cute. I thought about getting a cat or a kitten for my daughter, but she's waay to young to even know what a kitty is. I'll be afraid that she'll hurt it, or vice versa. Enjoy your new kitty.

well the cat that had the kitten is my daughter an she got her trixie for her 2nd birthday an has had her for 12 years an that cat loves that kid she is always in sight of my daughter but my daughter sarah is gifted when it comes to aninals like my grandmother use to say me an her can charm a snake from a tree an calm a wild bull I just hope I never have to try to calm a wild bull lol

I have a cat I call Solo because he was the only kitten, but instead of being 12 yrs old, this was his mother's first (and only) pregnancy, she had to have a c-section and they spayed her at the same time.
Now, the people across the street when I was growing up didn't get their cat fixed and she had 1 or 2 litters a year and her last one was only 1 kitten.

I'm not sure how long cats can keep having kittens. At 12 I'd say she was lucky enough just to get one. Pepereka sounds so cute! Congratulations to all 3 of you!

I am not sure either hopefully this is her last though an this litlle is going to stay with us she's a doll
