Web designing

I am making this post as a sequel to my previous post on starting a business. my friend now wants me to join him in the business and I am thinking of introducing web designing as part of the services, anyone have any ideas of how I can improve my skills in this area or is there a good source for free training online? Kindly let me have such information.

There are a number of ways of improving your web designing skills. If you have software for web design you can just play with it and you will know what it really does. You can also visit www.geocities.com and make a free website and they will even teach you how to make one. They provide you with a basic software which can design a web page which will be a good beginning method. After you use the basic software it will be easier for you to learn more advance type of software.
