daylight saving time

why are they saving it and where do they keep it?

Shoe Box's - pile of shoe box's
They are saving it incase there is a global power cut, so we will still be able to see if all the lights go out, and it is being kept in a size 9 shoebox under the stairs. Didn't they tach you anything at school LOL.

Ahh Thankyou. I must've been ill the day they taught that, perhaps they taught it when they taught rewiring a plug, I missed that because I had an exam :)

LOL! I like that question. xD I don't know but it's REALLY annoying. Why can't we just keep it at one time? It gets dark at 5 now! It's so bad. And we make our children wake up at 6 am to go to school... it's way too early for anyone to think.

I agree with Tellknow1, that's an excellent answer! I know daylight saving came in during the World War, but I don't know why we've still got it.

I haven't got an answer to your question, but the people in Japan and Iceland are saving themselves the trouble of switching their clocks back and forth. Why can't we all do that?
