Credit for Christmas?

Will you use credit for your Christmas shopping this year? It probably is not a good idea with the state of the economy and everything. I have to admit that I did use a little bit of credit for Christmas shopping but I will be able to pay it back next month.

I used my credit card only once this Christmas, and that was because it was a purchase online. I do not want to get into the habit of using my credit card when it isn't necessary. I want to save it for emergencies. I was watching the national news last week, and a poll with retailers said that more people this year are using cash or debit cards to buy things for Christmas. That is a good sign. People know they cannot spend more than they have.
