Thanks for the interesting facts that I didn't really know of. Actually I think I did know about the eyes being blue at child birth and as I look back I do remember when my son was a baby at a certain age when he cried I didn't see the tears. My son is now five years old and sometimes I look back with fondness in the early and new days. It is hard to become a new mother what with the diapers, the midnight feedings and all of the demands. It is all well worth it now and the time with our children goes by so fast and now my son can do a lot of things for himself and also has a lot to say! Also has a bit of a temper too. That is interesting that newborns have a natural ability to swim. My son actually has retained the bad eyesight you are speaking of since being an infant and it just so happens that he wears a pretty strong prescription now.
