Christmas "Down Under"

The song and the film sing of "dreaming of a white Christmas"... but that's what those of us on the upper side of the ol' equator dream of. What do people "Down Under" think when they hear about White Christmases? I mean, I know that most adults are aware of the whole North, South Hemisphere thing, but kids probably hear about white Christmases long before they even understand why anyone would have... much less want, snow in the middle of the summer?
