Are there any GOOD paid review sites left?

A couple of weeks ago, Ciao announced that they will no longer pay the 25 per review bonus. Instead you'll get to be a part of their new incentive system, which for most of this means zero earnings. I have looked everywhere to try to find another site like Ciao because I really enjoy writing reviews, but none of them work for me. I checked out reviewstream, epinions, shvoong, softwarejudge, and probably a few others. Still I really want to find a site that will pay me an upfront rate for reviews. Any suggestions from the myLot community? I'm sure we'd all like to find a good paid review site.

Hi there, I am checking out Review Stream at the moment but a bit unlike ciao, you have to wait for 72 hours before knowing that if your review is accepted or rejected. You either get 2 or around 0.4 per review depending on how many criteria you meet (the criteria are unknown to me). The payout is quite high - $50 but I am going to give it a try since if I could get paid for $2 per review, $50 for cash out is not too far. Will keep you updated of my progress there.

Hi ThePaintGuru, ReviewStream is actually quite strict in the copy righted contents. If you have publish your reviews somewhere else, I don't think you can submit your reviews to ReviewStream, even though it's your own work.

Is it possible to submit my Ciao reviews to ReviweStream? I know that ciao doesn't claim the rights to them, but I don't know about RS's rules. Since I have about 30 Ciao reviews this might speed the earnings up. I could also revise them to make them nicer and longer, so I don't get stuck with their bulk rate.

I was truly disappointed by Ciao! when they announced the change from the flat rate. However I think they are protecting their butts from crap reviews. They truly should have kept the flat rate, but subtracted from it if it received negative ratings. Or even just make it like 1 penny for a somewhat helpful review, 5 pennies for a helpful, or something along those lines. I am a member of Triond (pays by views), Associated Content, ePinions, and Ciao!. So basically nothing else to help you with. Sorry mate.

Yeah I understand why Ciao did what they did, but I'd just basically found out about them and made my first payout before they switched. It's not that I write BAD reviews, they are good and well rounded, but they are not the 3 - 5 paragraphs that I have seen some people write to try to get rated exceptional. I draw the line at spending 2 hours writing something to make a buck and a half.

You can still cash out last time I checked. I cashed out two days ago with like 10.67 in my account. However I have noticed a sharp decrease in earnings since the announcements.

I hope the reviewstream is the site for me. I'm still working on it right now. But I keep receiving bulk rates

i have to make some corrections on your impression at ciao. Its not actually a zero earnings because you can still earn better on ratings and comments. In fact, as for my experience at ciao, most of my earnings there are from my pays on user's rating..Its not the pay per review per se that gives you the earning opportunity at ciao..premium fund is just an incentive.Hope you can consider that.try to post review that is worthy enough for a good rating and add more friends as you can..then rate and rate..the same way, people will rate you back..and that means a earnings
