is Red hat certification worth ???

I am being told by many that RHCE is tough to crack and really worth of doing it....

yes,it is usefull.this certification tells that u have done something on redhat. companies do require linux professionals in large amount.there are advance certifications in this as well which leads to a brighter career.but only RHCE certification is not just sufficient.

I don't think RHCE is tough if you prepare for the practical exam for atleast 3 months.The RH-253 posses a challenge but the other two sections are not that hard.

I am also interesting in it.I think RHCE IS USEFUL AND AUTHORATIVE.I wanna gain such a certification later but I am afraid it is a little difficult for me.

RHCE could prove out to be that extra push everyone needs in their carrier. It would be useful only if you are looking to work as a Linux Administrator as RHCE does not talk about Linux kernel programming and stuff like that. IF company has deployed RedHat as their Linux distribution of choice which is the case with most of the companies today they are always looking for people with right certification and RHCE is that certification.
