What Color Are Your Christmas Lights On Your Christmas Tree?

I normally try to color scheme my christmas tree with my lights, decorations, etc. But this year my 7 year old daughter had some ornaments she made and a few keepsake ornaments that I wanted to put on the tree. I also chose to use multicolor lights on my tree. The colors are blue, red, orange, pink, green, and white. I chose to do many colors because I thought my 2 year old son would love the many bright colors. He definitely does too because every time I plug in the lights he says, "Pretty". What color lights do you have on your Christmas tree? Are you using a color scheme or are you using multicolor lights?

My Tree - My tree this year with presents ready to open.
My tree has a string of 200 multi colored lights on it. It has a set of 50 lights all on the same circuit for blinking. Tblinking function alternates between 50 lights each time. I've always loved more than one color. I've used all red with red ornaments prior. Also have done a tree in all green. I prefer the multi colors myself. Here's mine. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

I have one tree in my sun room with clear white lights. My tree is decorated with gold oraments. It used to be an optic fibre tree that is now broken so I decorated it myself. In my lounge I have a black Christmas tree (It does not look black though) it is optic fibre which changes to all different colours so I do not need lights on it. It is decorated with black and silver oraments and some my daughters have made over the years at school. My outside lights are all blue LED ones. A lot of my lights from last year got water damaged so I seen these blue LED ones on sale and bought them. I do not know if I like them or not though. I think the coloured lights are lovely and you two year old will certainly see the colours well. He will miss looking at them after Christmas.

hi mommy! We have a Christmas tree with multi-colored lights designed with bells, apples, "fake" snowflakes, candy cane.. etc.. Hehe.. It's so relaxing to see it during the night and the lights play different kinds of Christmas songs. It adds up to the Christmas atmosphere. ^__^

My mom likes just the solid white or clear lights. But I like the multicolored ones or I like bright colored lights. I would like a neon green color scheme. It's my favorite color and it seems pretty fitting this time of the year. I will probably stick to multi colored lights for a while.

Our Christmas tree has only clear lights. I know it is boring but I think it looks pretty. I try to keep our tree to a color theme of gold, burgandy and cream. Growing up our tree was always a hodge podge of colors with multicolored ornaments and lights. Now that I am on my own I can have the tree how I like it. Of course my kids have ornaments that we use that don't go with the theme , but almost everything does.

We have clear lights on our Christmas tree. It is just a small tree since we live in a small apartment. I got the lights on sale and that is why they are clear. My son loves them (he too is two), but he has been enjoying all the Christmas lights he has seen which tells me that he would love colored lights as well.

Hi there Single Mommy. I have decorated my girlfriend's Christmas tree (with her help of course) using a light pattern of colors like blue, red, green and yellow. We have also bought a new light decoration formed of icicles that are white but very cute. Apart from that i can't say much as my family has yet to decorate our tree, and i haven't been to my girlfriend's parent's to see theirs yet (they live in another city).

I've got the multi-colored ones that blink here and there. I like those ones the best. One year i did it with just blue lights and i didn't like it near as much. Me and my wife both like the multi colored lights for our trees or bushes outside and stuff.

The lights on my tree are the clear lights. I decorate with the clear lights, gold bows and white ornaments like snowflakes and snowbabies. Of course I cannot leave out my white angels that are on my tree. I don't change my tree around too much if I don't have to. Before the white and gold it use to be red and white.

I bought one of those artificial trees that already come with lights on them and there all different colors. I have seen some pretty tree this year and want to take some pictures of some of them. That's great that your son likes the colorful lights it brings a smile to their faces. May you and your family have a good holiday.

This year we did kind of a funky tree. Some times I like to mix things up a bit. Our tree is white, with multicolored lights. And all of our ornaments are metallic blue and silver. Its kind of grown on me, but I doubt its a look I'll do too often. Since this year it was just going to be the two of us I figured we could do our own thing.

The lights we put on our tree is white - they twinkle though so it looks pretty. Our ornaments are multi-colored (red, gold, white, blue) and we thought that white lights brought more attention to the ornaments that we used. We only have a tiny tree and we didn't really see it before when we used like two sets of lights (one multi-colored and the other was the white one that we're using now). It looks better now and it's on this tiny table too. :D

Blue for this year. I usually have a multicolored Christmas tree. I wonder if red and green lights would look cool?
