I work pretty hard on all the online sites to make a decent amount but over period I have realized that more than hardwork, smartwork pays you better... I tried shifting my focus on making referals to increase my earnings but I have had a hard time in doing so.. Even the people who liked it and were convinced do not work to earn.. Can you share some tips on making referals? May be if I have many of them then atleast some of them will add to my earnings..

What you are finding is pretty common. There are only a handful of sites that offer good residual pay for your work. (i.e. The work you do keeps providing earnings long after the work is done) If there is not residual pay, people won't do the work very long. For example on my lot, This post will earn me about three cents today and that is the end of it that is all I will ever get from this post. There is no residual so there is very little incentive for me to build of a body of work, so I will probably at some point decide it is no longer worth my time and I will no longer be producing earnings for myself or anyone. This means that you would need a constant flow of referals on mylot to have any significant earnings from it. The only way to do this is to have your referal link in a high traffic area preferably on your own website. My recomendation is to focus on your sites that have good residual pay firts. Once you do this your work as well as your referals work will start earning you residual pay. Once you have these referal systems in place you can start adding stuff like mylots which will pay in bursts.

I'm not so good at referrals, even though I do have a few thousand of them. Here on myLot I have over 100 referrals and NOT ONE of them is active. I have one or two very active referrals that joined more than one of my programs and they are quite productive. My advice, I guess, would be that the best referrals are probably people you know pretty well. Strangers just do not seem to come through.

Mine have not been able to find the messages, I think, because I have been most encouraging, greeting each and every new member with a welcoming message, but most of them never replied and never posted anything. But thanks anyway, and I am glad you are successful in your efforts to recruit.

To have more referrals I would create a blog to entice more users to subscribe to a site underneath me. Thus I can earn more money. You can send emails to friends or relatives.

I use my blog a lot to get new referrals. By posting about my success or about being paid by certain sites would get some people excited to join a program,. However, you must make sure that your blog are read and followed by some people for this to work. At the same time, I use a few traffic exchange sites to promote links to some programs that I have and looking for referrals. This has worked before and it is still working but you must make sure that you have credits to have your programs or sites displayed. That is the part where you need to work hard to earn the credits or you can always buy some credits if you prefer to spend money on it. You can also join forums where they allow you to discuss about programs that you want referrals for as well as where they allow you to attached your referral links on your signature. Those are the ways that I use to get referrals and by using those, for example, I have already managed to get 8 referrals for myLot. Cheers!
