Whats with the constant smile?

Hi friends, I have wondered all my life why religious people are always so happy. Is this just a front? No matter what is going on, they have always got these smiles plastered on their faces. I myself believe in God. However, I am not religious really. I have a brother-in-law that, as far as I'm concerned, just carries it too far. Since his children were born from the time they could barely speak, they actually had to say Grace at McDonalds? I am actually in awe of these people that are so happy. However, I don't like religion shoved down my throat and my brother-in-law is one of these people. Certainly if we (our family) ever thought of getting more into religion, he certainly turned us all off. I don't ever want to be like that. Tooo far. Cheryl
