Online freelancing/writing opportunities? / myLot

I really like to write, it's why I always take time to give relatively long responses here on MyLot. However, I was wondering if anyone here knows of sites online that allow you to submit articles or reviews or something of that sort, then pays you for them. Preferably not long-term jobs. I've been scouring the net for quite some time but have still come away empty-handed. Anyone got any sites they're willing to share? :(

I've recently started posting articles on Associated Content. However, I have only had 3 submissions published so far (still waiting on the fourth to be approved), so I haven't gotten close to a payout. If you haven't heard of them, there is a logo link on my profile for you to use to visit. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the advice, there's one problem I forgot to mention. I'm not from the USA, and if I'm not wrong, you need to be from the US to join AC, which I've tried to do before. Thanks for the reply though, appreciate it :)

Hello, Associated content accepts membership already from other countries. I am from the Philippines and after a month I accepted my first pay out $10 from AC , not much but well, I'm just starting. Helium, I have been paid more than a $100. You could try these sites and include triond.com too, Good luck.
