What was your reaction when someone said he/she loved you?

Well i had been in such a situation twice. And both the times my good friends had proposed to me. Well i had considered them good friends and nothing more than that as i had crush on someone else. Well first of all I was shocked and showed no reaction, then I started feeling very sad, as i knew that once this has happened, even if I keep friendship with that person, it wont be the same.

Well, my reactions differs with the kind of person who said "I love you" to me.Of course, if ever there will be a person whom I would like to heard those words, I want to hear it from the person I really love.This topic makes me remember the time that my crush before who is my boyfriend as of now tell those words on me.I really cannot forget the feeling. The feeling of excitement and joys engulfed me.I have mixed emotions. When he said that to me, I first checked myself I am just dreaming or not.I cannot say anything. I was so tongue-tied. I was really surprised and almost cannot believe it. Imagine, the one that I am admiring the most is telling me that he is in love with me. I feel that time that I am riding on the clouds. My feeling is so light. And my smile. I really cannot remove the smile on my face. On the other hand, I also heard those words to people that I don't have any feeling except on friendship.I did not get angry nor slap his face. I feel nothing.It just makes me sad that I cannot feel anything for him. I feel sorry for him for I know in myself who I really love. How I wish he did not feel that way. How I wish he did not say those words.

honestly, i don't believe it right a way. i even laugh at it if someone say this to me. but of course it's a different thing when your loved one is the one who said i love you. what i usually do when somebody said i love you to me is that, what made him say these words to me? and if it's coming from a stranger i would just go and ignore him.

I saw this queston was asked 5 years ago at that time when it was just a life for me witout any complication.I have only friends,no love,no crush.But today when Iam aering this ,reAlly I don't have any crush or love and alll that but almost my all friends have feel that.I think that they haven't taken any case sriously.They just go to girl and say that they love her,theif she ignores them or say no they follow her everyday and just calling her,passing comments on her.then they again ask for friendship and girl then had to say yes .And then he spend a lot of time with her,meeting alone and friendship becomes love. It was about my friends ,I am still single and no crush or something.
