Christmas is fast approaching. Actually, it is only 16 days to go before Christmas. We are all planning a gift to our friends and to our love one. With the two choices above, which do you prefer? A handmade card made by you or buy card? With me, i will be more practical since life is too difficult now. I can make christmas card made by my own hand. i think they will still appreciate it, what about you?

I'm not really a card person and if I do give someone a card it means that he/she's really special. I do prefer to make my own cards though not by hand. I usually make one in the computer. But the messages and pictures are still personal and not just the generic templates...

This Christmas, being our first with a baby, we made our own photo cards. We dressed our son up in a Santa hat and two different Christmas onesies and took a few pictures of him. It was fun seeing him dressed up and going through the pictures. We gave a couple of the cards yesterday, and his uncle and grandma loved them! So now, we'll probably always go with homemade photo cards.

I much prefer handmade cards and presents. It really says that the person is spending time and effort on making something just for me. At the same time I understand if people just don't have the time to do something like that.

i usually send ecards...esier and you can find really cute ones online lol.. but homemade gifts and cards are always more sentimental and it shows you took time to care for that specific person

yes i agree with you..hand made cards may be little less attractive but the amount of emotions and love they spread is immense...the gift made out of hard work and full of love is worth appreciating..and i am sure , all your friends and family members will surely love your hard work...merry christmas and a happy and prosporous new year.. happy mylotting.. thanks a lot..

Hand-made! Even though they're not as big as the gift, I feel that you can still make the cards special by making them on your own. ^_^ I've never made a gift for anyone, but when I was young, my mum insisted that I make the cards for my friends' birthdays and holidays because they're a lot more personal than store-bought cards. I think that this has sort of grown into me now, and I like being able to personalize the card and make it the way I want. =D It's nice from my part and I think that the other person appreciates it too. It's nice knowing that someone put effort into making something for you. Like I said before, it's a lot more personal and you can base it on the person's interests - it's just unique. =P You know that no one else got the same card as yours because it's not just a random one the giver just picked up at a store with the same thing written on every one. =P

i always hand make my cards and gift tags for everyone because i find it way cheaper than buying one. the cheapest card you can get is like a dollar (at the dollar store) and i find that too much because after a while, most people just throw it away. plus, i totally enjoy making my own stuff anyways.
