What do you see? (ice crystal)

I love taking photos of ice crystals that form on my doors and woindows a lot. This is a shot that fits in with the Holiday Season for me. As I looked at this ice crystla I saw a Christmass tree. It looks like garland wrapped around the tree etc. What do you see looking at this ice crystal?

Amazing isn't it? It looks like something sculpted in sand. I did look at the picture and it does look like a Christmas tree with some lights towards the bottom then if you just look at the bottom of the picture it looks like a really fancy scupltured egg.

Yeah very amazing.
I love breathing on the crystals making them
change into various shapes etc as well.
This was done with this shot one time only.
The bottom was more rounded before I blew on it.
Lots of fun taking this kind of shot too for me.

Great idea OreoCookie! A photo blog is an excellent idea, and Grandpa Bob is a fab photographer, he has a ton of really nice snaps!

Very Beautiful photo.
I love photos that have texture and soft colors to them. Perhaps what I love the most about this one is the subtle gradient feel to it. Smooth yet rough shinny and shadowy in all the right places. Another thing I like is how the subject is asymmetrical. A great use of the 1/3rds rule here.

I edit all my photos most times.
Especially ice crystals to bring out highlights and shodows etc.

Well, for me, It looks like a Big Christmas tree with a present that is either quite large, or a present maybe caught underneath as the tree might be toppling over, or tried to tip over. This is quite interesting work, and Thanks for sharing your photos with us my friend.

I never thought of finding figures in ice sickles but it sounds absolutely wonderful to do that, just like shapes in clouds.

That is a great picture I do see the same thing as you do, but to me it looks like the Christmas in laying in sand. love it...

Wow! What an amazing photo Grandpa Bob! To me it does look like a Christmas tree, and it looks like it has a snowman topper on it! That or a really big snowman haha! Super job! Keep up the awesome job on the snaps!

look like a Christmas tree! I can't get over that it is
ice crystals! I just don't know how you are able to see
these things and get pictures of them! It is truly amazing!
And you catch them before they change and melt! And then
you still have the picture! You really make me want a camera!
