Peeping Tom Eyeballing...Me

United States
December 9, 2008 3:04pm CST
It's freakin broad daylight outside and I just seen 2 white eyeballs peeking through my living room window at me. What a crock? What is this world really coming to? I was walking towards the kitchen when I seen these eyes staring at me, and as soon as I looked towards the window he took off, or she, or whatever it was. It happened so fast and I was so shocked, I couldn't get a good look at the face, but I would like to know who it was. I looked towards the window because I felt someone watching me. Have you ever felt someone watching you? The mailman, peeping tom, the milkman, the dog walker, a friend, a relative or anyone else? I would love to hear your story.

Wow that's a little creepy. The worst part is, is that it was probably a robber scoping out your place for a daytime robbery. I'd be extra leary about it for the next few weeks that's for sure. I've heard of people doing that because everyone's off to work during the day.

I don't think I've ever had anyone watch me. That is really creepy. You should close the blinds or something. Haha

That's kind of scary. I would not be impressed if I saw someone looking in my window. It hasnt' happened yet thank god. I would definately be freaked out. I can usually tell when someone is looking at me. You can feel the energy or something.

Right. It's just a feeling that I can't describe, but I'm glad I seen it so I can be alert.

maybe someone looking to see if you were home, this time of year I'd think robber. might want to call the cops and at least report the incidence so they can be on the look out in you area. It wouldn't hurt and just might save one of your neighbors.

Hopefully it was just some young kid looking for fun stuff to do...probably someone that knows you. It would be much worse if its an adult, I keep hearing more and more of this type of stuff going on in big cities!! People are just getting REAL STRANGE lately.

I was in the kitchen doing dishes and I felt that someone was watching me. I look over to the window and here is this person. looking in my window. I jumped and I went over to door and she had two men with her and asked if so and so was home I said yes I will send them out to you. Now there was no so and so never has been and they knew that and left but I called police and told then where they went. As My old house they did that and waited for me to leave and then broke in. Never again. Make sure you call the police. Promise me that. Your friend onlydia

I don’t have a story per say but there are times when I have felt someone watching me but could never put a finger on it .I figure we all have our moments of paranoia. There have been instances when I have felt someone watching me and actually caught the culprit when our eyes made four .Usually the person gets embarrassed and looks away .If it is a pretty girl however I try to engage with eyes and hopefully later conversation.

Yes I have felt eyes upon me before and turned around to find a wide eyed red faced someone saying hello or some lame some thing to try to make it look like they were not eyeing me. What I hate are the ones that keep their eyes on you like you are some kind of piece of meat. They have yet to learn the difference in come hither eyes and you are scaring the crap out of me eyes. Peeping toms I don't see a lot of in my out of the way area and for their sake that is probably a good thing.

Well in my area presently if they are peeping in windows they are probably looking for something to steal. We have had quite a few break ins in surrounding areas. I would pay close attention and make sure to lock my doors and be attentive to your surroundings as you leave your home. I am not saying this to scare you but better safe than sorry.

OK, thanks I'm not gonna get any sleep tonight! I read your original post and I got the creeps! Then I continued reading everyone's responses, about, burglars, peeping toms, mad men, and axe murderers. Oh wait, those last two are mine. Now I have more than the creeps, I have serious HeeebeeJeebees lol. A technical term, I know. In the middle of the day is one thing, but I'm sitting here in the dark. That is worse, I hate the idea that sometimes in the evening when we have are lights on people outside can see inside because of the lights on in the house. It really bothers me that there's the possibility that someone could see me without me being able to see them. Of course for you there is always the possibility that could've been a raccoon... a 5 feet tall raccoon...at that. But, the good news, is that it had to be an animal, because if it were a person I would be freaked and would not sleep again till I moved. You'd better get out your "`kick butt"`boots and keep em under the bed!

What area do you live in for this kind of stuff to be happening? It happens to me all the time. I live in a closed environment full of trailers. People walking in between trailers to cut time, walk by your trailer and have a quick look in. I've made eye contact with so many people I've never met, it's not even funny. Creepy but I'm used to it.

I feel sorry for anyone I catch peeping at me. I am one of those people that keeps the blinds closed all the time so someone would have a hard time peeping in here. We were having some work done on the outside of our house one time and my wife was working out in the basement and she looked over and there were two of the workman looking in the basement window watching her. One of them walked away really fast when he saw my wife saw them. The other one stayed there and gave her the thumbs up. She was really creeped out by it.

I feel like people are watching me at home at strange moments. Like walking up or down the steps in my house, where no one outside of the house can possibly see me. I think we have ghosts watching us, sometimes.

That is kind of scary. I haven't really been worried about anyone looking in my windows. We live in an area where we are not real close to our neighbors and the neighborhood is not very conducive to walking around in either so I haven't been to careful about covering all our windows. Maybe I should give that more thought.

Oh dear, that's a little scary, isn't it? You just don't know what's up next. To answer your question, yes, i have felt that feeling of being looked-at before. I have experienced that with a girl who always looked at me when i was back then in high school, and that probably could have meant that she liked me. Well, there are other incidences as well, but we tend to just to remember the more beautiful ones, don't we?? Ahh... memories...
