I am the kind that wants to be left alone in the mornings also. I never remember waking up very cheerful. I have friends that will wake up with tons of energy and ready to go. I have a friend at work that gets up three hours early so she can do laundry and get stuff done and she is always in a great mood when we get to work. I am always telling her that she is crazy but she says it is just her routine to get up at four and get it all done. There is no way I could do that or I would be in an even grumpier mood all day and not just till I was fully awake.

Because I suffer from fibromyalgia, I wake up most mornings feeling absolutely horrible. I wouldn't call it a bad mood, though. When I first wake up, I hurt all over. It is akin to the aches and pains of influenza --only it never goes away. I also feel like I haven't slept at all --even if I slept a full 12 hours. Fibromyalgia does that! :( To add to the bad, I am usually nauseated upon waking. I blame that on one of my medications for fibro. As far as my mood, I am quiet. I don't like to talk or be talked to for about an hour after I wake up. I am not snappy or rude to others, I just don't answer.
