I'm a smoker and I tried many times to quit, almost I make one quitting plan per 3 months. But every quitting just result in smoke more. Are you a smoker? Are you quitting? Are you success in quitting?

After a lot of failed attempts, I finally quit smoking on 2/9/05. It is the best thing that I've ever done for myself. My best advice is to write down all of the reasons why you want to quit and to take it one day at a time. I takes about 30 days for the nicotine to leave your system and after that, the addiction is just psychological. Good luck to you.

Great! It's so nice to hear that someone made it. Did you join any quitting program, or you just work alone? Did you write your thing on paper, or did you write it in an online journal?

Hi friend,My husband used to smoke but he gave up long back.He did not find any difficulty in giving up smoking.Thats what I wondered,as they say it is difficult to give up smoking. He doesn't even smoke even one or not even the temptation to smoke again. But I dont know about other things when he get used to something else he would be able to give up or not.You have to reach some frustration in smoking, thewn you can give up easily. All the best to give up smoking totally. thanks for sharing.happy mylotting.

Thanks for telling me it's easy :-) I think probably he was not a heavy smoker at that time. or, probably, he has a strong mind.
