I bought "Beedle the Bard" book yesterday from a bookstore. Good thing I got a discount coupon, so I got it at a very low price :D I enjoyed reading it. After reading it, i actually missed reading (not watching... reading) the harry potter series. Originally, J.K. Rowling only sold hand-written copies of these books which are worth millions of dollars. Then she decided that she wanted others to read them as well, and not just those who have extra millions (kudos to J.K. Rowling for this :D). There are two versions of the book available. one is the US version (with the brown cover), the other is the UK version (with the blue cover). After reading it... i realized some (actually most) of the stories are not for kids... to gruesome maybe? hihihi. :D Have you read the book? what do you think of the stories in the book?

Thanks for knowledge. I didn't knew beedle the bard was also there besides "fantastic beasts and where to find them" and "Quidditch through the ages". I'm gonna dld it right now and will respond again in this discussion after reading it. BTW I'm also a big fan of HP series specially books, And I've even got all the midis from the movie. I love the theme tune of HP movies.

I can't comment yet on the book, although I have it at home, sitting on my bedstand. Having read all the Harry Potter books, and love JK Rowling's writing style, at first, I was hesitant about getting this book. Still, considering that I love her previous books, I decided to get it. Now, reading your comments, I want to go and read it. I think she is quite talented, and is now looking forward to reading the book. Have you guys heard her Harvard commencement speech on youtube? She was quite inspirational.

I'm actually so glad you posted this! I've been wondering if I should get Beedle the Bard. I have all of the Harry Potter books and enjoy them much more then the movies! I just didn't know if I would really like reading this one too. I miss Harry Potter! I almost think she should come up with a series about his children! But then I'm afraid it will become too much and just become a joke! Anyway, thanks for posting!

I also love the series! the book's ok and not that bad. still worth reading. :) my reply to your opinion with regards to coming up with a series about his kids: yeah... i agree... it might be too much. :D it's like people might say "please stop writing... you're ruining the story". hihihi!
